I’m a detail-oriented front-end web developer, passionate about thoughtful design.
I’ve been real fortunate to work with clients of all sizes and industries to build a wide variety of websites and web apps. Many of these projects used a content management system like WordPress, Craft, Shopify, and Squarespace, for which I developed custom templates from scratch, and tailored the editing experience as much as possible (i.e., custom fields with ACF) to make it easy for anyone to manage and update content.
I firmly believe that well-crafted code is a prerequisite for a terrific experience.
A site should be responsive for mobile devices, quick to load, and accessible — and hopefully offer a few delightful details, even if they don’t call attention to themselves.
I work in languages like HTML, SCSS/CSS, Javascript/jQuery, PHP, and ERB, though I’m always up for learning something new. I genuinely enjoy the challenge of developing a new solution to a difficult problem, if it gets us closer to an innovative and elegant result.
